Our Purpose:

The Cause exists to:

serve as a catalyst, challenging people to discover their unique gifts, abilities and calling.
serve as an advocate, partnering with people as they find creative ways to put feet to their faith.
serve as a resource by creating a culture of global giving through Project 345 and other avenues, thus empowering passionate people to impact lives around the world.

What the Cause believes:

The Cause is a non-denominational Christian organization that is motivated by the love of Jesus Christ to impact the world.

We believe that one person can change the world

We believe in the Great Commission

We believe in global awareness and outreach

We believe in the power of short-term missions

We believe in serving the church by providing outreach opportunities

We believe in meeting people's need spiritually, physically, and emotionally

We believe in community involvement

We believe in the collaboration of individuals and organizations

We believe that everyone has a God-given dream

We believe in intergenerational ministry

We believe in relationship driven projects

We believe that God calls us to look after widows and orphans in their distress

We believe that the most effective way to change the world is one person at a time

The Cause is a registered 501 (c)(3) in the state of Oregon. We are based in Bend, Oregon.

We have two specific types of partners that we work with. Long-term partners are those who are developing a long-term ministry or embarking on a long-term mission. Our short-term missions partners are those people who are raising awareness and support for a short-term missions trip.

Long-Term Partners
We partner with people who feel a call to missions, either locally or globally. Through the partnership we help create an administrative foundation to fulfill that vision. We serve as a fiscal sponsor for grassroots ministries and provide them with administrative support. We provide consulting and assist in funding strategies.

Short-term Partners
Our short-term partners are similar to long-term but with specific time frames. This includes young people who are traveling on short-term trips to minister to others.
